Indeed. I'm on with this.
Hosting isn't a problem to be honest. It's on my Linode at the moment,
but it's easy to move because DokuWiki's file based so there's no
database dependencies. It's backed up every night by rsync.
It could use a DNS entry though, but I don't know who runs the DNS ;-)
(wiki.wylug.org.uk -> 64.22.103.114)
The authentication is enabled, there's an admin group that can access
the "private" namespace so we can put non-public details in.
Self-registration isn't enabled just yet, because it's not been
spamproofed yet.
It was initially intended to be an admin wiki, but there's no reason why
it can't be a general one, indeed it should be.
