[Wylug-admin] Wylug list moderation

Hi everyone,

There's a message awaiting moderation for wylug-announnce from Geoffrey 
Gifford from NTI which I reproduce below, inviting members to a Google 
Android taster sesison next week. Whilst I'm sure lots of our members will be 
interested (me for one!), I've not approved the message yet because whilst it 
does originate from the kind providers of our meeting venue, it seems to me 
that this may be considered to be a slight abuse of the list. Traditionally 
the announce list has just been for our own meetings and activities, and 
those of other local LUG or LUG-like groups.

Had the message not been from NTI, my gut reaction would have been to not 
approve it for the announce list, but to forward it to the discuss list. In 
this case though, I suspect that it wouldn't do us any harm to fo NTI a good 
turn, and the subject matter is likely to be of such interest to members that 
perhaps we should let it though.


Any thoughts?

In response to your feedback at our last meeting, the Android full
