After the fiasco of organising the last meeting, I thought I'd get on
the ball earlier for this one. I think we still had a decent crowd, but
my mind's a bit blurry about exactly how many.

Date: Sunday 15th October
Time: 19:00 (or earlier for those with nothing better to do on a sunday
afternoon)
Venue: Dot.Commer cyber-pub, Manchester Road, Huddersfield

Agenda: Who can remember anything we discussed at the last meeting,
because I got too drunk. I'll bring the laptop again, and we might see
if the lad in the pub can bring his Red Hat box downstairs.

Directions: From the Huddersfield ring-road (trust me, if you're driving
into Huddersfield you *will* end up on the ring-road) follow the signs
for Oldham (A62) Once you leave the ring-road, this is Manchester Road
and the Dot.Commer is about 800 yards on the left by the first set of
traffic lights.

Those coming by bus, can either walk to the pub (10-15 mins) or catch
any of the following: 302, 303, 350, 351, 352, 356. My memory isn't what
it used to be, so please ask the driver if he is going along Manchester
Road.

The general aim of the meeting is to provide an informal environment,
where we can use phrases like cron-job, journalling file-system and
ide-scsi emulation without people looking at us funny. I've had an email
from a young lad who's working on a web-site as we speak and will
hopefully be able to make one of the meetings some time in the future
(I've seen kids in the Dot-Commer before so that shouldn't be a problem.

Cheers

Mark
