Greetings All,

This is an EARLY Notice for 14th March - as I am away next week.
---------------------------------------------------------------

I don't want people turning up on March 7th (next mon) like they did when
I last did this!!!!

Thanks to Nigel and Smylers for the talks last month. We had a good turn
out despite the date.

This meeting has a Linux in Schools Flavour. So m,ake sure you tell anyone
you know interested in School and Linux - we should have time for some
discussion.

Tim Fletcher will talking about Moodle ( http://moodle.org/ ), a Course
Management System. Chris Tebb has also had experience with Moodle in a
pilot in a few Leeds High Schools. I think Chris will in addition be
talking about some of the work he is doing with Edukalibre
( http://www.edukalibre.org/) and he will also be highlighting some of the
issues facing Open Source software in the school environment.

Advance notice of the April meeting where Rob Speed will be talking a bout
Wireless and Linux, and hopefully, James Holden on DVD authoring under
Linux.

Hope to see lots of you a week on Monday

all the best
Jim
