Hello all...
I have a quantity of ISA network cards which I don't want. They're
mostly 3Com 509's and some others types. There's about 40-ish in all.
I'm sure some people may find them useful for routers, thin-clients
etc... or just as spares for older machines that lack PCI slots.
They are untested, but I'm assured they were working when they were
removed from their original machines.
Sadly, none have boot ROMs fitted, but the 3Com cards, at least are
supported by EtherBoot, and ROM images can be obtained from
http://rom-o-matic.net/. Suitable EPROMS can be had from Maplin, order
code UH44X (£3.99). I don't have an EPROM burner, but somebody else on
the lists might have.
I'll bring them to the next meeting.
James
