Morning All,
I'm having a clearout. Again.
I have two UPS's that are about to hit the recycling centre.
One is an APC Smart UPS 600I and works, but needs a new set of batteries
desparately. They last about 30 seconds if that.
One is a SOLA 610 model which I bought as one of a working pair some
time ago. One has been running fine for me, but I've only just got
chance to power the other one up, and although a relay click can be
heard when you apply power, it seems dead. I'm fairly sure there's not
much wrong with it, but I don't have time to look at it. I believe the
batteries are OK, or that's what I was told.
The two units take different types of battery, in case you were thinking
of doing a swap over. I'd already thought of that and looked.
I'll bring them with me to the WYLUG meeting on the 12th, but they're
heavy, so you'll need a good strong shoulder bag if you're on foot.
Might find more stuff later on today.
James
