As I mentioned in my earlier post, I'm planning DVD distros for fastdiscs.

In wanting to get things right as far as compatibility goes, I'm looking
for people to test some discs.

You get:

One of Mandrake 10, Fedora Core 2, Fedora Core 3 Testing, Debian Sid or
Debian Sarge on DVD for 'nowt. Maybe others too.

The small catch:

* Test that you can boot from the DVD.
* Test that every file is readable, so something like `find /mnt/cdrom
- -type f -exec md5sum {} \;`
* Let me know the make and model of your DVD drive, by mailing me the
output of dmesg or inspecting proc (ie: /proc/ide/hdc/model).

I can bring the discs to the pub meeting on Monday, or post them out.

Hope you don't all feel too taken advantage of.
