Agreed.  I got around to reading it properly this morning, and came to the 
same conclusion.  One of the reasons I want to work on fixed mount points for 
devices that I use (relatively) regularly is so that /mnt/removable can be 
left free for occasional mounts like that.  Headway is not good, though.  If 
we get anything useful I'll pass it on.
