I use the AlienBBC http://www.x2systems.com/AlienBBC/ plugin for
slimserver for listening to realmedia streams on my squeezebox.

I have been toying with putting together a python script to download
all of In Our Time as i love it
(http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/history/inourtime/inourtime_archive_home.shtml)

I would like to do an AJAXy webfrontend similar to slimserver, ideally
with a built in player, but streaming mp3 would be fine. I could
borrow a lot of code from slimserver im sure.

Slimserver does have an mp3 stream you can tune other players into
(there is a free version in the debian repositrys but i use the ones
from
deb http://debian.slimdevices.com testing main
as i dont mind a few images that are non-free (the program itself is gpl)
Just may be easier than finding urls etc.

See you monday.
Tom
