Exactly, there's too much which is promoted as 'computing' thats simply training
people how to use some (albeit very common) applications, and which probably
wouldn't be done for another subject. Can you imagine a metalworking course that
leaves trainees only able to operate the classroom tools and not similar
tools from other suppliers?
