I thought someone out there might like some more info about
this. Some years ago Professor Patrick Stakem came to Sheffield and
gave a lecture about Flight Linux....

Flight Linux has now finished. However, the project has been opened
up for anyone to be involved in. It's a worthwhile project and yes
it is open to anyone who wants to take part. Some of it is involved
in the development of revolutionary medical scanner hardware and
software. Other parts are automotive in nature and some of it is
plain old fashioned control software for space based platforms such
as clustered robots for space exploration ......
