[Wylug-discuss] WHOIS for IPv6 on Linux

Hi

I'm doing some WHOIS lookups on IPv6 ranges from the command line i.e.
whois 2001:630:62::/48 it only shows info for the top level 2001::/16
not the more specific prefix.
But if I use the web based whois on www.ripe.net it will show me the
details for the more specific prefixes i.e. 2001:630:62::/48
Is this a limitation of the command line whois or am I using the command
wrong.

OS is Fedora Core 6 Kernel 2.6.20-1.2962.fc6 jwhois version 3.2.3
