Hi folks, now that the discuss list is operational, I can forward this
mail about a an OSM mapping party for Bradford.  Should be a fun
weekend!

We are being called upon to help map Bradford with the OpenStreetMap project.
Bradford is really quite ashamedly unmapped for such a large city, and save
for a WYLUG mapping pub crawl (great fun!) early on this year, has not
had much mapping attention.

So - 2 day mapping party for September 27/28. Come along for both
days, just one day, or even part of a day! They have a selection of
GPS units to borrow, and full training will be given. Its also
generously sponsored, so food and drinks are covered. Spread the word.

The venue is sorted and the cake has been drawn. The Bradford mapping party
is going to be loads of fun. Come on in to Bradford on the weekend of 27/28
September and have a great time mapping one of those mostly unexplored
places that at the moment is barely on the map. Loads to see and do over the
weekend.

This mapping party is generously supported by cloudmade.com which means we
have a great venue in the city centre (Midland hotel) complete with all the
necessary amenities, refreshments and wifi to keep a mapper happy.
