However be aware that Imagination Technologies (or at least parts that used to 
be PowerVR) are very hostile to open source. They have a history of releasing 
absolutely no technical documentation, and providing binary drivers with 
murky licences[1].

And no end of problems trying to get similar SGX hardware to work on 
arm-linux.

[1] I believe the current set of drivers keeps the binarystuff in userspace. 
However I've seen binary only kernel modules that claim a licence of "GPL".
