Hi Paul.
For clarity, the opening is in the Meta division of Imagination,
working in the group that does kernel porting for our own multi-threaded
DSP CPU. Our group do post patches back upstream when possible (see
http://www.remword.com/kps_result/2_6_29_whole_line.html - we ranked
166th for that release ;-), and are active members of the kernel and GPL
development communities.
Our radio division, Pure, are currently shipping products with our
kernel on our processor, and the GPL sources available for download.

However be aware that Imagination Technologies (or at least parts that
used to be PowerVR) are very hostile to open source. They have a history
of releasing absolutely no technical documentation, and providing binary
drivers with murky licences[1].

And no end of problems trying to get similar SGX hardware to work on
arm-linux.

[1] I believe the current set of drivers keeps the binarystuff in
userspace.
However I've seen binary only kernel modules that claim a licence of
"GPL".
