It does detect which OS you're on, and highlights in green which one it thinks
you should use.  It greys out the two columns that don't apply to you.  It
could probably do a much better job of this, and certainly clutters it all up
with too much politics.

It seems apt to suggest a site does quite a good job of providing a direct
link to what you actually want while still allowing you to download different
versions for different operating systems.
