[Wylug-discuss] Desktop environments - would anyone like to talk?

All,

There was discussion recently on the mailing lists about desktop
environments and a wide variety of views emerged.

Would there be interest in having a series of short
presentations from proponents of the various desktops at the
next meeting?

I'd gladly talk about Unity, and in particular some of the
tweaks I've found to make it a bit more usable (ie: disabling
some of the more "controversial" new features).

I know there are ardent KDE and XFCE users in the group too.

Each talk could include:

* What environment you use
* Your typical day-to-day tasks
* What's good
* What's bad
* What tweaks are worth doing

Alternative views are welcome. If you won't run X at all and
prefer screen and lynx, tell us about it too!

Cheers,

James
