- I am a bit wedded to Debian's packaging system
- As far as I can see Mint is basically a rebadged Ubuntu
- I'm thinking of reverting to vanilla Debian
Sounds like you want Linux Mint Debian Edition. It's Mint, but based on
Debian rather than Ubuntu. Also takes the rolling release model
