[Wylug-discuss] slackware 13.37 kde failure

I have been trying to get slackware 13.37 to work, for some time now.
I have cycled through all the bios display options and there is no change:-
	KDE will not run and complains of inaccessability to DBUS 
	XFCE will run with no complaints  
		but I am quite attached to kde
Will a new version of kde and or dbus help ?
Or is slackware 13.37 the devil's vegetable ?
