I've been through a fair bit of international discussion with friends
about this. Android seems to be socially acceptable on the ePad (not
the iPad). You can get those from Ebay for about £100. I've got a
10" Android 2.1 ePad on the shelf at home. The eBook reader can be
good. Ebay from London for about £50. A question of do you want a
black and white book reader or a full colour device that does
something else ? Difficult to decide which is better. My ePad is a
great ebook reader.

The one that seems to confuse a lot of people is whether you want a 7"
or 10" device. 7" is good for people who travel a lot. Speaking from
experience. 10" is good for use at home and for occasional travel.
