This was absolute tosh - I totally forgot to mention VMware Player (Limux
and Windows) which is free. On MS I would rate it over VB, on Linux I once
had to reinstall (fix) VMware Workstation because a VMware Player install
screwed it up. I would image VMware sorted any incompatibilities between
Player and Workstation on Linux long ago.
