Just spotted this one in the KB ...

	A date value of February 29 2012 is not saved in the VMware
	Service Manager customer portal

Symptoms
	A date value of February 29, 2012 is not saved in the customer
	portal

	Dates entered as February 29, 2012 change to either February 28,
	2012 or March 1, 2012

Cause
	This issue occurs because VMware Service manager treats February
	29 as an invalid date, even though 2012 is a leap year.

Resolution
	This is a known issue affecting VMware Service Manager
	9.x. Currently, there is no workaround.
