Various changes to use gestures may well make sense but that those
changes are damaging the existing user interface for desktop/laptop
users is simply daft.  No wonder people are abandoning the GUIs which
are so silly.

If this were just Windows I'd be unsurprised.  Oh well.

Rushing to write code for the "new" (*) stuff is perhaps the reason.
Hopefully someone will eventually step back and do some design instead
and then recode to a sane design.

(*) it's not really new but hey
