We are recruiting for a leading Linux based Company in Leeds, for an OpenSource Perl | Python Engineer, which I thought may be of interest to some list members. They are located next to Leeds train station so commutable from Yorkshire & Manchester. 

 

Our client continues to remain at the leading edge employing the best Linux based solutions including for example some products built in Google's Golang (alongside the most part in Python|Perl & some Ruby|Android|C++|Go|Obj-C) which if keeping an eye on future Tech interests you they do like to foray into Tech both proven and under development!

 

*Job Description*

Senior OpenSource (Python or Perl) Engineer to work on leading edge projects for a high profile Central Leeds (West Yorkshire) Company, pushing the new product road-map within a dedicated innovation lab, working heavily with emerging Tech. Salary negotiable circa £40,000 + Bonus + Benefits + innovative products

 

*Requirements*

* Product Architecture, ownership & direction of components of exciting innovations. 

* Development of scalable server-side applications. 

* Working with multiple programming languages and both established and emerging technologies. 

* Your code will connect with endpoints of all kinds: browser, mobile and desktop. 

* Occasional international travel requirements.
