This is a great article, thanks Graham, how fortuitous! It provides a neat system for combining dhcp and DNS for the local LAN, just as we were discussing at the meet up.
I wonder if dnsmasq can run on the edgerouter? The UBNT forums don't seem to have anyone who has set that up, but someone has a guide to adding ad-block scripts to dnsmasq running on edgerouter so it looks like that might be a possibility http://www.bciuca.com/2014/02/05/edgerouter-ad-block/
NB: Andy Glass dropped by yesterday and picked up my second edgerouter to try configuring the OpenVPN server as discussed on Monday. Cheating I know but I want to make sure I get at least one thing ticked off before the next meet up.
