[Wylug-discuss] CAD software?

At the weekend I was talking to a man who is seriously interested in
moving his business to Linux.  He is confident that it can manage his
general needs, but his business is heavily reliant on CAD software - and
I understand that he also needs to be able to read files from very old
Windows CAD programs.  It sounds as though he has tried running some of
his existing software under WINE without much success.

Is he asking the impossible, or does anyone know a feasible approach for
him?
