[Wylug-discuss] Is GRUB 2 worse than elilo ?

Some  of you have seen my fumbling with a sony vaio at past 
meetings,trying to get it to boot off an LVM only filling system, using 
a UEFI bootloader.

I have reached the point of booting many times. This time elilo said 
that I am not on a UEFI system! I expect to have another go with elilo 
before the meeting, assuming that I have a parameter wrong. Any suggestions?
