Hi Dave,

A couple of months ago we bought 10 end of line, but brand new,
fully-guaranteed and supported,  IBM Stinkpads for GBP 600 each (no bulk
discount) from http://www.iscnet.co.uk (Ask for Michael Ryan IBM
Business Development Manager, Tel: 01480 421016).  Thus far we have only
had one minor problem with the suspend function on one machine.
Unfortunately, they all came with MS-Windows XP, but we quickly fixed
that bug ;-)

Only 1.2 or 1.3 MHz Celerons, but otherwise reasonably spec'ed (inc Etherne=
t)
and the kind of support that IBM built an empire on ... bloody
excellent.
