I am interested in gathering information on

    * Components (CPU, Motherboard, Controllers, disks, Boards ...) with
      low power consuption
    * Solutions with low resources consuption (windows managers, office
      suites, internet suites ....)

Since it seems to me that many other people are interested, can we
prepare a database or a small HOWTO, gathering all the infromation we have?

Corrado

P.S.: For instance, at the moment I am particularly interested in the
Via chips and alternatives (Transmeta?). Do you think the Linux
community did forget Transmeta chips? I just noticed MS recently
certified the Transmeta Chip (august 2002). I was wondering if there
were project going on on developing version of OS/software tools, which
can maximize advantage of Crusoe special features.
