My mini-itx is running 2 HDDs off a standard ATX PSU with the fan cut
out (there's a jumper).  Mike needed the resistor because the Compaq
boards we use for our Xterminals test for the presence of the fan and
the resistor fools them into thinking that it is still there.

Us flat dwellers are slightly disabled there, hence (17 cm=B2) silent
server on the desk in my bedroom ;-)
