Hi When I run 'emacs -nw', e.g. from mutt under xterm, the Alt key does not work, except when preceded by 2 Escapes. I think I've been told in the past it's something to do with the xterm settings, but I can't remember how to fix it. If I run it under Eterm, the Alt key works fine, but the backspace key now produces C-h. Any pointers? Thanks. Felix.
