[Wylug-help] Apache SSL error

I've got:
"Apache/2.0.43 (Unix) PHP/4.3.1 mod_ssl/2.0.43 OpenSSL/0.9.6g configured -- resuming normal operations"
this is running on FreeBSD 3.2, but this shouldn't make too much difference (he says).

When accessing pages over SSL, the following error is logged to /var/log/httpd-error.log

[Mon Mar 10 09:47:30 2003] [error] (20014)Error string not specified yet: Cannot store SSL session to DBM file `/var/log/
httpd-ssl_scache'

before I go digging in to the source, has anyone seen this error before or know what causes it? I've tried websearches
but not found too much useful information.
