How about Mitel's SME server - very easy install and can be administered
from a browser, local or remote.
www.e-smith.org
Its a derivative of Redhat but installs from 1 cd in less than half an hour
(Including config).

Redhat needs 1GB?!
I know it doesn't have a 'leet' image, but the absolute minimum Mandrake
install is about 60MB. Good hardware detection, too.
Not, as you say, to start a flame war.
