I am really sorry for missing the meeting on Monday, it seems that you
discussed many things that are relevant to me.  I will not make this mistake
again!  I am new to Linux from Windows so excuse me for asking daft
questions.

I have Kmail version 1.5.4 (KDE 3.1.4) and I would like to upgrade up because
I really hate preview panes.  How do I go about doing this?  I am running
SuSE Linux 9.0.

Also, I am disappointed that the personal version of SuSE 9.0 does not come
with GNU Cash.  There is a downloadable version on the SuSE website which is
pre-compiled.  I am used to the Windows system where you just download files
to your desktop and double-click them, is it the same with Linux?
