Hi Anne,

That size box should easily take a Linux distro.  If the problem's not being
able to boot from CD, then choose one that has floppy images on the CD, and
boot from floppy first.  At one time, that was the only way you could start.

The last dist I did this with was a RH7.3, so I know at least that far back
you could do it.
