[Wylug-help] Hp2500c override A4/letter?

Hi

I have a Hp colo(u)r laserjet 2500c. Lovely printer. Works in cups
fantastically, etc.

But, I have a problem with it which I just can't fix! When you send a
"letter" sized document to print it prints the first page, and then
sulks and you need to clear the printer to make it go again (pressing a
button on the printer).  the (windows) software to control the printer
settings has an option to avoid this (it's called override A4/letter)
however it doesn't work, not even when printing directly from windows,
so I reckon it's broken software!

So, is there any way I can force cups to re-render pages sent to this
printer as A4?  The printer isn't plugged directly into a linux box, but
into a print server if this makes any difference.
