[Wylug-help] Creating disk images

Hi Felix,
there was a presenation a while ago ay wylug about how GB Direct implemented this sort of system to re-installs their training suite. I don't know whether the notes are available.

I have just finished some work for a company who where using a custom Knoppix live CD to install/boot strap debian and their custom software onto harddrive. It was a bit messy but the basic idea was to get a basic system onto the disk and then use chroot & apt-get to install the rest of the system. 

The 'magic key' for installing packages that needed to be configured was 'get-selections' & 'get-selections' which enable pre-seeding of the configuration databases prior to installing the actual '.deb' package.

I believe the intention is to make some of the work they did available, email me off-list if you are interested and I'll put you in contact with the guy.
