Hi!
I recently purchased the 64bit Debian 3.1 disks from cheeplinux. My problem is that in order to get my NVidia drivers to install I need the kernel source installed.
I performed an apt-get install kernel-source and picked the 2.6 kernel from the list. It seemed to install ok. (my apt sources just contain the dvds that I got and the debian security site). I think the kernel source came from the disks.
In the /usr/src folder I had the kernel source in a bz2 file. I expanded it in /usr/src.
After trying to install the drivers again, I used the ./configure parameter to point to the expanded kernelsource directory.
Unfortunately it now complains about missing /include/linux/version.h.
What am I missing?
If you need anymore info please let me know.
Kind regards
Rachel
