ghostview will have installed itself into /usr/X11/bin.

$ dpkg --contents ghostview_1.5-27_powerpc.deb | grep usr/X11
drwxr-xr-x root/root         0 2001-12-30 09:09:08 ./usr/X11R6/
drwxr-xr-x root/root         0 2001-12-30 09:09:09 ./usr/X11R6/bin/
-rwxr-xr-x root/root    117528 2001-12-30 09:09:09 ./usr/X11R6/bin/ghostview
drwxr-xr-x root/root         0 2001-12-30 09:09:08 ./usr/X11R6/man/
drwxr-xr-x root/root         0 2001-12-30 09:09:10 ./usr/X11R6/man/man1/
-rw-r--r-- root/root     10379 2001-12-30 09:09:09 ./usr/X11R6/man/man1/ghostview.1x.gz
drwxr-xr-x root/root         0 2001-12-30 09:09:08 ./usr/X11R6/include/
drwxr-xr-x root/root         0 2001-12-30 09:09:08 ./usr/X11R6/include/X11/
drwxr-xr-x root/root         0 2001-12-30 09:09:10 ./usr/X11R6/include/X11/pixmaps/
-rw-r--r-- root/root       454 2001-12-30 09:09:10 ./usr/X11R6/include/X11/pixmaps/mini.ghostview.xpm

ghostscript isn't in stable, testing or unstable, so is a holdout
package from Debian 3.0 (woody). If you remove it, gv is a much nicer
replacement.

x11-common should conflict with ghostview; I'll file a bug against it.

Roger
