Getting closer.  I think all that remains for me to install pinentry-qt.  
However, I'm seeing "Unable to parse package file /var/lib/dpkg/status (2) 
Unable to lock the download directory"

I thought that maybe there was a stale lock file but locate didn't find it.  
Help, please?
