[Wylug-help] fedup upgrade to 18 broke my touchpad on DELL Vostro

Hi folks.

I followed the instructions as per 

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedUp#How_Can_I_Upgrade_My_System_with_FedUp.3F

and all seemed to go fine - no errors that I saw. However, having completed 
the upgrade the touchpad in my DELL Vostro has stopped working. It seems to 
view it as a PS/2 mouse but then it doesn't work, neither the pad or the 
buttons.

There are *old* references to this in Google but nothing I can use to fix the 
problem.  Yum update doesn't fix it.

Does anyone have instructions simple enough for me to follow to fix it.  Below 
are the outputs of xinput and lspci. I can't see anything 
in /var/log/messages but that doesn't mean there isn't something in there
