As you say there is limited parking behind the pub. It'll only hold about 10 
cars but it might be OK if people are aiming to be there for 7:00. If you can 
find a space there is also street parking on Heslington Road and the side 
streets off it, or at least there used to be.

The snooker at the Barbican finished yesterday (Peter Ebdon won for those who 
care). So as long as the BBC have got their trucks out of the car park the 
Barbican might not be too bad. There is also a large car park on the other 
side of the road to the Barbican car park but I don't know if it's open at 
night.
