  As a Debian user I think it would be a mistake, even if there was
 a real preference for forums, to tie them in to a single specific
 distribution.

  I know poor unfortunate souls who like to use RedHat, Gentoo,
 and other distributions.  So any forum which were to be used for
 a LUG should be as distribution agnostic as possible.
