  That they do - public sector organisations do seem to be a lot better at interpreting the Disability Discrimination Act than others. Being hard of hearing does not affect your ability to use a telephone (induction loops on hearing aids, even textphones for the more technologically progressive) any more than needing to eat regularly affects my ability to write software (I'm diabetic)

  Some of the departments are advertising (I've just applied for a job with the Department of Chemistry) but there's nothing on the website listed for Computing Services. The IT job market has been as dead as a doornail over the past month or two, but seems to be picking up now.
