Hi all,

This is one of those looks simple, turns out not to be sorts of
questions - is it possible to suspend to disk and resume a machine if
its swap is on LVM?

AIUI the resume works by booting a new kernel, and having it load the
saved system state, so I think the question is how far does the 'new'
system boot - does it run any of the LVM etc setup tools from its
initramfs, or does the resume kick in too early?

If anyone knows from direct experience whether resumes work or not with
swap on LVM that would be useful; if anyone understands the mechanism,
that would be even better. :-)

Ewan
