Hi just want to add my 2 cents.
Matthews reply really is an eye opener and I can't help but wonder how all these companies offering cheap broadband manage to survive?
Anyway for Alex, I have been using Pipex for many years now and have never had a problem with their service or price. I don't know if they do static IPs but their tech support guys are vey helpful and their website has most of the info you would need. (http://www.pipex.co.uk/)
Hope you find what you need.
Regards
Alex

I don't want to say much except ditto, a real eye opener.
