This is basically a religious issue and raising it always just starts  
a flame war.  Obviously half of the respondents are, by definition,  
wrong :-)

I'd suggest just letting it drop.

The other mailing lists I run have a particular setting, and the  
official answer to the queries about it are that the current setting  
is staying exactly as it is unless and until someone finds my price  
and pays it to me.
