Yes. Sorry, but yes.

I'm sure there were good reason why you have that many partitions, but  
I don't think it's sensible now. The best plan is to take the pain  
now, and as others have said, use LVM. If you can, the best way would  
be to back up all your partitions and then reformat the disk from  
scratch. Then create LVM devices as needed and copy the data back in.  
Sticking on FC6 is not a viable option.
