OK it seems that in Fedora F11 the latest version of OpenJDK does now
work correctly with the Juniper client - see
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=509153

So I guess that from the Fedora viewpoint this is solved.  It is
possible that the same fix will be backported to F10 but I can't
guarantee that.

Maybe developers on other distros will take this fix and apply it to
their versions of the java JDK?
