If you're not having success that route, you might find luck finding
a developer who is working on similar packages who might have a
specific interest in your work.
You're right that you shouldn't harass directly, but there's no harm
in asking again on -mentors if you got ignored--it may have just been
overlooked by busy people. After all, the people doing the mentoring
are all volunteers who have to dedicate a large chunk of time to
review people's work. Just pinging again may get you somewhere.
If you don't get any joy at all, I can have a look, but I don't have
time to do it for the foreseeable future I'm afraid.
